What is Engineered Wood Veneer?

In other words its called Recon or Reconstituted Veneer or man-made veneer.

It’s typically made from fast-growing trees like Poplar, Ayous, or Eucalyptus. First the log is sliced in thin sheets, similar to how natural veneer is produced. Then the sliced veneer sheets are dyed using water-based dyes ensuring variety of colours and patterns. There after dyed veneer sheets are layered to create the desired pattern. Later they are glued together using adhesive resins, typically under heat and pressure. The layered veneer sheet is then pressed under heat to cure the adhesive resulting a solid block. The solid block is then sliced into thin veneer.

All different kind of species like as Oak, Walnut, Cherry, Ash, etc are available.
